Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

To raise awareness of mental health and well-being to all staff across the Emergency and Essential services by providing peer support networks with links across the UK. To also raise mental health awareness and support the families of Emergency and Essential services staff and to signpost and support colleagues where required.

The Trustees joined other charities and organisations to advise and collaborate in developing a new MIND Blue Light Program. The Charity supported several individuals with funding for private Therapy.

The Charity ran several Surfing sessions for members of Ambulance services and Police forces.

A Trustee took part in several online Mental Health Conferences to represent the Charity.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Trustees and supporters made up a Team to support the “Light The Lakes” initiative for Police Officer families.

The Trustees exhibited and networked at the Emergency Services Show in Birmingham.

The charity trialled a session with Pete Lewin and his Emotional Support Dogs.

The Charity held a Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk.

In October the Charity held a Masked Ball in Scarborough which had been postponed. The Ball was smaller than intended due to a reduced capacity but was well attended.

Trustees were involved in University research into staff retention in the NHS.

A Trustee represented the charity at the Royal Foundations launch of their Blue Light Mandate.

The Charity continued to operate under very difficult conditions due to Covid restrictions. The Charity was able to start small scale outdoor activities again under Government Covid guidelines.

The Charity continued to build on its Social Media and online presence.
