|||the Parham<br>Park Trust to move off land occupied under an informal||
|||rental|arrangement<br>for more than 100years to an adjoining<br>piece ofland.|
|||The new site will be leased from Parham<br>Park Trust under a999-year||
|||lease|agreement.|
|||The main achievements<br>for the current review period are as follows:||
|||1.|Preparing<br>the new allotment<br>site for use; marking<br>out plots/paths|
||||and preparing access.|
|||2.|Allocating<br>plots to 50members,<br>following a consultation<br>period,|
||||including<br>12new families, who were allocated plots for the first|
||||time when the new site opened.|
|||3.|Successful management<br>ofvacant plots, which cannot be re-let|
||||under the Terms ofAgreement<br>to lease with the landowners|
||||Parham<br>Park Trust.|
|||4.|Successful fundraising<br>mainly through<br>grant applications<br>and|
||||donations<br>for produce towards the cost ofcreating a Community|
||||Cabin on site. This will benefit both allotment<br>gardeners<br>but also|
||||the wider community,<br>who will be able toaccess the site in new|
||||ways.|
|||5.|Promotion<br>ofthe benefits ofallotment<br>gardening<br>via articles<br>in the|
||||local community<br>magazine a new website and social media|
||||presence.<br>Unfortunately,<br>other activities on site had to be|
||||cancelled due to COVID-19.|
|||6.|Successful sales ofsurplus<br>produce at an honesty stand at the|
||||allotments<br>entrance. This generates<br>funds and provides the|
||||community<br>with good quality,<br>local vegetables,<br>fruit and flowers|
||||fora modest donation.|
