||The object of Caban Cae’r Nant is to enhance the development and<br>education of children in Wales, for the public benefit, by encouraging<br>parents to understand and provide for their needs through high quality<br>childcare provision.<br>Caban Cae’r Nant benefits our local community. Our purpose is to:<br>•<br>Provide day care to working parents<br>•<br>Provide Flying start and Early Entitlement<br>•<br>Provide respite for parents/children whom need this service.<br>Or parents/children in need of respite and support or early<br>education.<br>•<br>Provides wrap around childcare for nursery age children attending<br>Ysgol Cae'r Nant utilising the 30-hour childcare provision grant|
||All of our charitable activities focus on providing high quality<br>childcare and early education to our users. This is undertaken to<br>further our charitable purposes for the public benefit.<br>We confirm the trustees have had regard to the Charity<br>Commission’s guidance on public benefit.|

||Caban Cae’r Nant was inspected by CIW on 05/09/19 and received the<br>following ratings.<br>•<br>Well-being = Excellent<br>•<br>Care and Development =Excellent<br>•<br>Environment = Good<br>•<br>Leadership and Management = Excellent<br>Caban Cae’r Nant’s Flying start itters audit was completed in June<br>2024 and was graded: Good – Excellent. We have successfully<br>secured grants to enhance our outdoor environment. Our staff<br>have undertaken extensive training on the new curriculum,<br>including Elklan to support speech and language development.<br>Caban Cae’r Nant has piloted the balance bike initiative for the<br>Early Years sector and is now enrolled in the Tiny Tums<br>programme. Additionally, we have invested in resources to further<br>embed the new Curriculum for Wales. The setting continues to be<br>highly recommended.|
