The Objects of the diarity a￿ to promote any
charitsble purpose for improving and developing the
artistic creative talent of the young peop￿. in
particular but not limrted to, aged 8 to 26, in
particular but not lirnited to financing coaching in the
Arts and any other activity which the trustees see frt
in pursuit of the organisation's purposes, including
mentoring, perf0rrnan￿ opportunities and the
promotion of equalty and go&J mental health
through access to the Arts for those that would not
be able to afford under nomal circumstances.
Campden Edge's geographical limits are defined as
the district of Carnpjen Vale and the surrounding
villages of Blockley. Paxfofd, Stretton on Fosse,
Pebworth, Honeyboume & Aston Magna,. and
induding current and past pupils of Campden

FUND RAISING
We received £32,445 in the Year Ending 5 Ppril
2025- which was up £12,046 on last year
(£20.399). This growth was due to both an increase
in support from charitable trusts and a rise in fund
raising activities.
Trusts and foundations made up 57Yo of our incorne.
Donations of £5,000 came from three local
charitable trusts: the Reckitt Family Trust,. the Mary
Doney Trust: and the Chipping Campden
Communty Trust. We also received donations of
£1,000 from the GCC'S Build Back Better Fund. the
Weston Sub Edge Educational Charrty. and the
Blod(ley Arts Sooety. and £51)0 from another
d)aritable trust.
We also received support from £2.791 from
indNidual and corporate donors.
We held iwo main fund-raisir@ activities this year.
Our Chipping Campden Music Festival envelope
campaKJn which expanded to run throughout the two
weeks in May 2024 raised £5,935; and we held a
Lent Lunch in the Church Rooms raising a further
£447.
The charity was the beneficiary of several third-paty
fund-raising initiatives. We were the part recipient of
Campden Open Gardens June weekend which
raised £2,000 for us. In addition, sales from Rachel
Cunynghame's Plant Stall raised £500. There were
three musical events.. Millie Hesketh's Cello cOn￿rt
raised £697; the Meon Singers collected £250. and
The Hoo Singers raised £215. Donations from an
80th birthday ￿lebration raised a further £447.
In addition, the charty has collects'on boxes auoss
the area vthich brought in a total of £283.

BENEFICIARIES
The charity made grants totalling £28.301 to pay for
arts education: the majorrty of this (£22.044 or 77%)
was via Chipping Cwnpden School.
Campden Edge's SUpp￿t in Chipping Campden
School indudes the cost of ongoing instwment and
Vol￿ tuition for 33 students. This includes lessons in
piano, flute. clarinet. saxophone, voice, violin, double
bass, ￿110. guitar arxl drums. We have also
8UPPOrted the school by funding the purchase of
new flutes darinets for a woodwind initiative.
Outside of this CCS support, Campden Edge has
directly funded 17 students with music and drama
lessons. travel expenses. and art supplies.
SCHOOLS SUPPORT
Trustee, Sara Wright. runs the Schools Support
scheme whereby the schools (7 primary and one
secondary) in our catchment area can apply for
funding for arts-based extra curricula trips to support
students whose family Gannot affi)rd to pay for the
cost of a tn'p or event. Schwls have been contacted
via email and telephone call during the last year.
This ensures schools are aware of the scheme,
remind them of CamFden Edge (and what resources
we can provide), and enables us to build up contacts
within school who will often refer teacherslfamilies to
us. Schools have contscted us kn more infofmation,
applications for music lessons or ideas for
sponsorship to consider.
INSTRUMENT LIBRARY.
The charity runs a small virtual library where
unwanted instrunEnts can be pla￿d with students.
Between ￿ri124 and March 25. we assisted in
donations induding piano, cello, trumpet, clarinet,
music.

at £32.455 and expenditure at £28.301 with cash
funds at the year end of £26,805.

Campden Edge does not currently hold a designated
reserve, as we have no long-term contracts or
financial obligations. However. we are committed to
honouring all commitments made to applicants and
suppliers from available funds.
Should our available funds fall below 50% of
forecasbj expenditure. then the following steps will
be taken:
Major applicants and partners will be notrfied
of the sttuation, including the extent of any
likety reductions in support.
The application process will be paused until
funding levels permit its reopening.
We wll also k￿p Chipping Campden School and
other relevant stakeholders infom)ed of our financial
px)sition and any consequential actions.
