Section C Objectives and activities
The objects of the CIO are:

To relieve the mental and physical sickness of persons resident in Gwent - Summary of the objects of the suffering from bereavement or loss; by the provision of counselling and charity set out in its support governing document for such persons

To act as a resource for young orphans living in Ivory Coast; by providing

advice and assistance and organising or sponsoring programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of: (a) advancing in life and helping young orphans by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; (b) advancing education; (c) relieving unemployment; (d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for young orphans living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, poverty or social and economic circumstances, with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.
We encourage and support the participation of young orphans in Primary/secondary school education, vocational training courses. In December 2023 Christmas period we supported young orphan at - la Pouponnière de Yopougon, in Ivory Coast, by distributing items such as; clothing, teddies, milk, etc.

Section D Achievements and performance
The chair of the board of trustees travelled to Ivory Coast to meet with Summary of the main the beneficiaries of our activities. She paid for her flight, accommodation achievements of the charity and local transportation, without any cost to this charity. during the year She spent her money for shipping clothing items donated in UK, to Ivory Coast for distribution to various orphanages.
