This last year our worship has focussed on perseverance, forgiveness, and will move onto
parables for the next term at school. We have also worshiped through harvest, advent and lent.
Each week, children have had the opportunity to respond personally to worship through the class
refleclion time.
Here are a few examples:

We have continued to teach our children about spirituality through windows, mirrors and doors.
What do we see when we look out at our world and when we look at ourselves? How do we then
respond. Our responses have been through 'wow' moments and 'ow' moments.

After a successful completion by the children in Y516 Children in Class
Noah IY112) have taken on the challenge of the Archbishop's Young
Leaders, Award this year.
They have been learning about perseverance and why you need this
character strength to be a good leader.
A great activity was a 'stick at it stick,. The children collected a stick from
the school field and then used items from the craft area to decorate it.

School Vision
This is Ihe agreed school vision-
Walk in love as Christ loves you (Ephesians 5.2)
Giving children a foundation to flourish and live fruitful lives.
Rooted in the security of love we grow in leaming, character and courage to equip us for the great
adventure of life. In our Astbury family the first fruits of our character are our values of self-control,
peace and kindness. We learn and practise these to support all we seek to do together.
This vision is threaded through all we do as a school.
