Helping London’s Homeless

Our Trustee’s Report for The Year Ending 31 March 2021

This Year has been a different Year for us at Hands on Hand Out, due to the Pandemic we have had to change the way in which we carry out our Outreaches.

We still take out the essentials to our Homeless friends need every Sunday. We now stay in the Car Park at St Pancras Church and our Homeless Friends come to us to collect their Essentials. (We do still visit a few of our regulars that are unable to make it to us).

We still see on average 100 homeless people every Sunday, and we give them a hot Meal, sandwiches, drinks, chocolate, sweets toiletries, socks, pants, wet wipes. On some Sundays we take clothes, such as T-shirts, sweaters, joggers, shoes. Some of this we purchase new for them and some of it is donated.

All our funds received are either from donations or from Fundraising activities that the Trustee’s arrange.

This Year however all our Fundraising Activities were cancelled due to the pandemic, and we were lucky enough to secure a grant to help us.

All our funds are spent on Helping London’s Homeless.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 03 / 2021 .
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
