We continued delivering<br>sessions stretching into September,<br>using funds from the Birmingham &<br>Solihull Mental Health Foundation<br>Trust.<br>National Lottery (covid award)<br>In July 2020 we applied for a grant<br>from the National Lottery fund, which<br>aimed to support our beneficiaries<br>who were suffering from social<br>isolation and loneliness. We were<br>successful and the fund of almost<br>£10,000 landed in our bank on<br>October 2 [nd]  2020 but had to be spent<br>by April 1st 2021. We delivered a host<br>of online activities and set up a You<br>Tube Channel where activities can be<br>seen (the channel is called Arts All<br>Over The Place and can be accessed<br>on line) We also filmed various<br>members reading poetry etc. As it<br>was not possible to run our usual<br>exhibition that year, work was<br>exhibited on line.  We delivered over<br>100 face to face sessions: Mindful<br>walks in parks with a qualified<br>Psychotherapist; Mindful art sessions<br>and drama sessions were delivered in<br>various community venues, three a<br>week and we provided hot drinks.<br>Again, Government guidelines for<br>therapeutic groups of up to 15 were<br>frequently checked and carefully<br>followed. Hands, Face and Space were<br>observed. We had to limit the<br>sessions to those who booked as we<br>frequently got full sessions.<br>We applied for a regular Lottery Grant<br>in early 2021, expecting it to take<br>longer for a decision, but we heard in<br>March that it was successful and the<br>funds arrived in March 2021, which<br>unexpectedly pushed us over the<br>£25.000 income threshold, as it was<br>almost the end of our financial year.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

All the work was carried out after April<br>1 [st]  2021<br>Hoarding Project  £3000<br>In February 2020 we were approached<br>to do some work with people who had<br>an issue with hoarding. The company,<br>Cloud’s End was commissioned to<br>work with people referred to them by<br>Birmingham City Council, We planned<br>a project around Drama, tackling<br>issues such as letting go, and some<br>art using recycled material and<br>selecting precious objects and making<br>for example collages from selected<br>photos etc.  Unfortunately, this work<br>was put on hold due to Covid.  As part<br>of the You Tube filming, a member<br>called Brendan Higgins was filmed<br>speaking his poem on Hoarding, and<br>this was sent to Cloud’s End, and the<br>project was reinstated, commencing<br>In February 2021, with a first payment<br>of £3000 arriving in our bank in<br>February 2021, and we started<br>delivering the art for this project,<br>which continues with more funding<br>into the following financial year.<br>BCH work done in 2020 Feb /March<br>In February 2020 we started work on<br>a project for Birmingham Children’s<br>Hospital (BCH), delivering off site<br>sessions to young people.<br>Unfortunately, the sessions were<br>stopped in March 2020 due to Covid,<br>however we did not get paid until May<br>2020, which means that money shows<br>up in the following financial year<br>(20/21)<br>Statement confirming  Para 1.18 8. As the trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the'Act').
I report in respect of my examination of the CharIt￿S accounts under sertion 145 of the 2011 Att
