Objectives and activities
The obejctives of the CIO are..
(l) to advance in life and relieve the needs of children and young peoplc living in the londo
borough otbromley, in particulaT but not exclusively by..
(a) makillg grants to individuals in n¢cd andlor ehkrities, or other organisations working
to prevent or protect children from abuse or relieve poverty.
Ib) providing or assisting in the provision of suppor¢ services and facilities that wi￿1 help
to develop their skills. capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society
as matur¢ and responsible individuals and rncmbcrs of society.
(2) ts) develop the capaeity and skills of members of the community in the london borough of
brorniey in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meeL their needs and to
participate more fully in society and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for
recreation alld leisure tim¢ occupation with the objective of inwroTring the conditions of lif¢ of
the residents.

public benefit when reviewing the ch2Tity'S aims and objectives in planning its ￿tUre
