OBIEcnvES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives The objects of the CIO are.. l. to advance in life and relieve the needs of children and young people living in the London borou8h of Bromley in parhcular, but not exclusively by.. making grants to individua15 in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to pvent or protect children from abuse or relieve poverty. providing or assishng in the provision of support, services and facilities that will help to develop their ski115, capacities and capabilities to enable them to parhcipate in society as mature responsible individuals and members of society- 2. to develop thè tapacity and skills of Members of the community in the London borough of Bromley in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society and to provide facilities in the interesrs of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objethve of improving the conditions of life of the residents. Public Benefit The Trustees have referred to the Charity Commission'$ general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the Fund's aims and objectives and in planning the Fund's future activitie5. In parricular. the Trustees have considered how planned acknvities will contribute to the aims and objectives that have been set. The Trustees are satislied that the Charity continues to meet the Charity Commission's guidelines with regards to delivering public beneh"t.
