ADA & ALBERT REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES

The Trustees present their statutory report with the receipts and payments accounts of Ada & Albert for the period 01 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Objectives

The objects of the CIO are:

  1. to advance in life and relieve the needs of children and young people living in the London Borough of Bromley in particular, but not exclusively by:

  2. A. making grants to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or protect children from abuse or relieve poverty.

  3. B. providing or assisting in the provision of support, services and facilities that will help to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals and members of society.

  4. to develop the capacity and skills of members of the community in the London Borough of Bromley in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life of the residents.

Activities

The charity was dormant for the period to 30 June 2023.

Public Benefit

The Trustees have referred to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the Fund's aims and objectives and in planning the Fund's future activities. In particular, the Trustees have considered how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives that have been set. The Trustees are satisfied that the charity continues to meet the Charity Commission's guidelines with regards to delivering public benefit.

Reserves Policy

The charity was dormant for the period to 30 June 2023. It will be the policy of the charity to maintain unrestricted funds to enable it to meet its charitable commitments and growth of the park for the foreseeable future.

The level of reserves at the period was Nil.

Structure

Ada and Albert is a foundation charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) incorporated by constitution dated 4 June 2018.
