The purpose of Les Petits Bilingues de Newham is the advancement of education for the public benefit by providing French speaking and non-French speaking children from the ages of 3 to 16+ living in East London with lessons in French and other activities outside mainstream education to help:
- Those with an existing connection with French language, culture and heritage maintain this connection in the UK and with their extended families in their countries of origin.

Bi-national families who are either settled permanently or temporarily in East London and whose children do not attend French educational establishments meet their needs and values through the provision of French cultural support with a focus on improving the children's language skills, confidence and self-esteem, which in turn will have a further positive impact on their literacy and speaking skills.

Parents and children of Newham eager to develop such skills easily access such language learning facilities without having to travel long distance.

Visibility and Brand Image Project - Oct 2024 In October 2024, our high-quality website was launched, alongside a stronger and more active presence on social media network. Designed by a highly professional team of skilled young French experts, this project was created for the FLAM Monde event Day in October 2024. This website as well as international FLAM world day in October, has enabled us gain in visibility, strengthen our reputation, and enhance our image as a FLAM-certified school. A remarkable achievement! “ ” – Bonbon Pottery Workshop January 2025 Following the FLAM Monde event, students were given a unique opportunity to design beautiful artworks inspired by Paris monuments they studied previously in class, As a result, this francophone activity played a key role in developing original, unique, flexible, and innovative FLAM teaching methods in our school. Our school objective for students to enhance French language learning in full immersion has been outstandingly achieved.

Finally, we conducted collaborative exchange with” Parapluie FLAM UK”, “Fédération FLAM Monde” and AEFE in terms of excellent language teaching resources building. Indeed, this worldwide association of French complementary schools in collaboration and full support of the AEFE (the French Educational Agency for Foreign French Language) helps local French schools in the Uk and worldwide with advice, as well as support teachers with online CPD training enabling them to be updated with the French and Uk National curriculum ensuring it is well respected.

Outstanding French linguistic, cultural and heritage events undertaken at Les Petits Bilingues de Newham outlined the greatest achievements of the charity during the whole year. End-of-Year Fair and Celebration July 15th / 22nd, 2025 French Ballet Workshop with Lydie Schrepfer, French and Francophone director of Halsville Ballet in Newham Visit to the English National Ballet in Canning Town (July 2025) Music in French Students celebrated “Fête de la Musique”, French musical day through special session with Madame Jazz_June 24.th. Sports Workshop French language teaching and learning through Jiu-Jitsu & gymnastic sessions. French Cooking Workshop French food prep through “crêpes “recipes and celebration of epiphany with degustation of la” Galette des rois” was a real success in_Dec 2024 / Feb 2025. French Art & Craft Local French Easter egg hunt in collaboration with Macaroni Penguin. Beautiful and creative easter cards creation & fun celebration of the event. Well-being & Nutrition Workshop Wellness and Pilates event in French for Francophone parents led by French-speaking organizers Karine and Marielle from Happy Family. Environment & Energy Awareness Workshop Biodiversity Fresques creation in class. French Green Class &“Bastille Day” celebration Our resourceful open-air Montessori activities on plants, gardening, held at Thames Barrier Park in Mai/ June are one of the most popular teaching ideas and rewarding learning tools of our green class project” La classe verte” A real success in terms of memorising the vocabulary learnt and improving speaking and listening, motor skills in French. We gave a memorable opportunity to enjoy French bastille day outdoor at West ham Park with the cooperation of our wonderful little bilingual parents and LPBN team! |

Section E Financial review
Our reserves result from accumulated unrestricted amount surpluses. We Brief statement of the intend to maintain our reserves at a level which is at least equivalent to a charity’s policy on reserves rental deposit of six month’s rent plus one term’s operational expenditure. This is to mitigate against our principal risks of fluctuating pupil numbers and/or face any increase in the rental costs overall. Our trustees maintain a meticulous budgeting policy to be reviewed on a yearly basis to ensure the stability of the charity budget to stay accurate stay in line with the regulations enabling us to fulfil our obligations
