Introduction
The Trustees of the Lions Club of Westbury have pleasure in presenting this report together with the financial statements for the year ending 30[th] June 2025 There are seven Trustees of Westbury Lions Trust, and no trustees received any remuneration from the Charity Trust or Fundraising activities.
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees report and keeping proper accounting records which disclose, with reasonable accuracy at any time, the financial position of the Charity Trust, to enable them to ensure that the Financial Statements comply with the current Charities Act.
Aims and Objectives
These are defined in the Trust Deed Document
The object of the Trust are to hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for any purpose which is charitable according to the law of England and Wales, whether for the benefit of an individual, or group of people, sSchools, or for the benefit of any other organisation established for charitable purposes.

The Trust Deed is held by Trustee Lion David Firth and is available for inspection.

The income and expenditure are held in the Fundraising account
The Lions Club of Westbury
The Lions Club of Westbury comprises 26 members. Through the generosity of the Westbury, Dilton Marsh and Bratton communities, the Lions Club of Westbury have made grants to individuals and grants to schools and community groups amounting to £13,392.30. Our total expenditure was 24,372.11. A £30,000 bequest to the Club from a past member has been invested.
The Accounts for Westbury Lions Club, are examined by Gooding accounts, with their independent examiner report included.
Westbury Lions Fundraising
We did not hold a classic Car show this year, instead we held a Family Funday which raised £615.39
The Santa sleigh was again very well received by all residents and children of Westbury and Villages and after all expenses £7,903.67 was raised during December.
Donkey Derby income was down this year, but a success with all the children having a superb time. This year we had Josie entertainer to keep the younger children entertained, along with the donkey rides and races. After all expenses £757.67 was raised.
In October we held our Fun Run starting and finishing at the Country Park after expenses this raised £1,260.34
For the first time we held a Quiz Night which after expenses raised £814.40
Future Plans
The Trustees plan to continue with the stated objects in the forthcoming year. Current Trustees

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements:

to keep accounting records in accordance with regular Accounting procedures.

to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the necessary accounting requirements of the Westbury Lions Club (CIO).
