9|**Attock Cricket Club Charity is a vibrant, community-centred**
**organisation situated in one of Birmingham's most**
**socioeconomically disadvantaged wards. Beyond being a cricket**
**club, we are deeply committed to promoting positive change**
**within our local area through our multifaceted approach to**
**community engagement and sustainability. Our overarching**
**mission is to create an inclusive and socially responsible**
**community space and pathway through the medium of cricket**
**and related initiatives. Our primary goals encompass:**
**1.**
**Cricket Excellence: We offer comprehensive coaching**
**programmes catering to individuals of all ages and skill**
**levels, fostering cricket talent and promoting teamwork,**
**discipline, and sportsmanship among our members.**|
**2. Community Engagement: Active collaboration with local schools, charities, and community organisations lies at the heart of our endeavours. We host tournaments, festivals, events and initiatives aimed at addressing societal issues such as health and social cohesion.**
**3. Charitable Work: Over the past year, we have:**

**1. Cricket Development: Our coaching programmes and participation in local and regional cricket leagues provide opportunities for individuals to hone their cricketing skills and enjoy the sport. We focus on nurturing talent and instilling important life values.**
**2. Community Outreach: Collaboration with the community is pivotal. We organise tournaments, festivals, events to create a sense of belonging and empowerment among our community members.**

Investing in the younger generation is essential for building a brighter future. **charity, the club charity volunteered to**
**raise £2000 to support an initiative to**
**send surgeons to GAZA to provide**
**medical support to injured children as a**
**consequence of the war. This is a non-**
**political initiate and one that is purely**
**addressing a humanitarian cause. We**
**used our social media channels to reach**
**out to our friends and families as well as**
**a cricket event to raise the target sum.**
**Within two weeks of our promotion, we**
**were able to reach our target.**|

**than a cricket club, our main business is**
**cricket. All our teams both junior and**
**senior play competitive cricket and we**
**are delighted that on all fronts the teams**
**performed well. Our particular success**
**was with our first team squad who had**
**set their heart of achieving champion**
**status of their premier division and then**
**seek promotion to the highest premier**
**level cricket at the amateur level.**|

**has decided to offer free membership**
**and as a result many young people have**
**moved across to this club. This**

**play had to be upgraded and that**
**resulted in £3000 extra expenditure.**

**impact on our finances. The club had to**
**dive into small reserves to ensure it**
**could stay afloat and honour any**
**financial commitments with regard to**
**operational business.**|

## TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
As a very small charity we do not have financial capability to appoint an auditor, however here is the process of making sure our accounts are delivered accurately and conform to good standards in line with our values and objectives.
- Club has a treasurer who volunteers to perform this duty
- The treasurer is elected member of the management committee and presents monthly accounts to the management
- The treasurer prepares the accounts on a template annually with various headings for income and expenditure • When the accounts are finalized all evidence is submitted to an independent qualified accountant who offers this service in kind and audits the accounts and finalizes them for publication
- The accounts are annually presented at the club AGM and uploaded on the Charity Commission’s website, under Annual Return
