Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial stalernents as a vthole
are free from material misstatement. whether due to fraud or error. and lo issue an auditorfs report that
indudes our opinion. Reasonable assuran￿ is a high level of assurance. but is not a guarantee that an
audit conducled in accordance with ISAS (UK) will always detect a material misstatement when it exists.
Misstalemenls can arise from fraud or error and are considered matenal if. individually or in the
aggregate. they could reasonably be expected to Influen￿ the economic decisions of users taken on the
basis of these financial slalements.
Irregularities, induding fraud. are inslances of non<ompliance wth laws and regulations. We design

of irregularities, in¢Fuding fraud. The extent to which our procedures are capable of detecting

• the engagement partner ensured thal Ihe engagement team collectively had the appropriate
competence, capabilities and skills to idenlrfy or recognise non<ompliance with applicable laws and

• We assessed the susceptibility of the charttable company's financial statements to material
misstatement. induding obtaining an understanding of how fraud might occur. by..
• rnaking enquiries of management as to their knowlethje of actLJal. suspecled and alleged fraud., and
• considering the intemal controls in place to mitigate risks of fraud and non•compliance with laws and
