focused on providing advice and financial aid to
families in the UK and abroad requiring
repatriation support. We offered remote
assistance to families in need, enabling them to
bring their deceased family members home. In
addition, to raise awareness of the charity’s
mission and generate essential funds, we
conducted various
fundraising activities, including preparing for our
big fundraiser, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu
Picchu,in 2025

Para 1.20 During this time period, our charity became an
invaluable support arm for families navigating
repatriation. Losing a loved one is incredibly
difficult, and when it happens abroad, it adds
even more stress and challenges for the
grieving family members. Throughout the year,
we assisted 65 families by providing them with
guidance on repatriation or financial assistance.
The families we supported were extremely
grateful for the help provided by our charity.

1 Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008) and the Accounting and Reporting by Charities - SORP2005.

Turnover

Turnover represents the value, net of valued added tax and discounts, of receipts made by supporters and well-wishers to provide funds for charitable purposes.
