invaluable support arm for families navigating
repatriation. Losing a loved one is incredibly
difficult, and when it happens abroad, it adds
even more stress and challenges for the
grieving family members. Throughout the year,
we assisted 22 individuals by providing them
with guidance on repatriation or financial
assistance. The families we supported were
extremely grateful for the help provided by our
charity. One of the families qualified for
financial aid, allowing them to bring their loved
one back home to Wales.
In addition to our primary services, we had a
successful year of fundraising in 2023. Our
main charity challenge (which was organised by
REST), involved hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro,
raising £43,852 for our cause. Additional
fundraising contributions came from volunteer
supporters, local organisations and
