The trustees apologise to the Charity Commission for the late submission of this report. As a purely voluntary initiative, currently without funding, it has been challenging to bring trustees together to conclude this short report.

This report covers 1 January - 31 December 2021 and, in the same report, 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022.

The governing document for the RRC, which is a CIO, is its “constitution”, accessible at (SORP Para 1.25): - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vOe8QkiMNzZRuCi3OcI_wdGiGo blicMhyNoUUF4AsI/edit?usp=sha ring

The trustees continued to engage with partners on a voluntary basis, seeking to fulfil the organisation’s mission of awareness-raising by contributing to publications about the human rights situation in specific Middle Eastern countries.

As indicated in the Charity Commission’s online questions relating to finances, the Rights Realisation Centre (RRC) did not make or spend; solicit or receive any funding in 2021 or 2022. We do not have volunteers as we, ourselves, carry out this work - at the moment - voluntarily.

The RRC’s charitable objects (from Charity Commission website)

To promote human rights (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) throughout the world in particular but not exclusively in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa regions, by any of the following means:
