Activities
The Octandre Ensemble champions the work of contemporary composers, giving public concerts, making and recordings, and commissioning new works. Besides public concerts, it provides opportunities for composers, running educational workshops and hosting discussion fora.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1. To Advance, Develop And Maintain The Public’s Appreciation Of And Education In The Art Of Modern And Contemporary Music By Any Means The Trustees See Fit, Including Through The Presentation Of Public Concerts Championing The Work Of Contemporarycomposers, The Making And Dissemination Of Recordings.2. To Otherwise Advance The Education Of The Public And Promote Public Appreciation Of The Art Of Music, By Such Means As The Trustees Decide.
