The main activities of the LIFE Community are the operation of the Pippins Community Centre and Christian worship at The LIFE Community church. The Trustees have considered the guidances issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The Trustees conclude that the charity offers much public benefit by providing an excellent community facility which can be used by all, predominantly by those in Axminster and surrounding area, and by providing public worship which anyone can attend. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
This year has been another excellent and fruitful year for The LIFE Community as we continue to be a faithful and prayerful presence here at Pippins managing our wonderful community centre and nurturing and equipping an excellent team of Trustees who are now confident to hold the baton of managing the centre together with two trustees from The LIFE Community so that this wonderful story continues.
New initiatives have responses to the cost of living crisis such as our popular Community Fridge Drop-In and Pippins Pantry.
The LIFE Community is growing into our role of being the faithful and prayerful presence at Pippins Community Centre as we learn what it means to dwell here and be kind to all that we meet.

The charity aims to hold 3 months running costs in reserve. This is estimated at £11,000. The unrestricted cash balances at the end of the years are £5369.
We are working hard on building up this reserve.

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act Independent and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all examiner's the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. statement
