The trustees conclude that the charity offers public benefit by providing a community facility which can be used by all, predominately those in Axminster and the surrounding areas, and by providing public worship which anyone can attend.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
This year has been another fruitful year for The Life Community. We continue to enjoy managing Pippins community centre, and being attentive to the ripple affect of what we are achieving here. People are growing in confidence again after the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic and are feeling much more comfortable in using our space. The community centre is thriving and feels very vibrant with all of our groups back and a few new ones in addition. New groups include a volunteer farm project which involves us taking small groups of people on a weekly basis to a local organic sheep farm. This has been wonderful to see people grow in confidence and self-esteem as well as learning new skills such as hedge laying, organic gardening, sheep herding, bee keeping, outdoor cooking and tree planting.
The Life Community is growing into our role of being a faithful and prayerful presence at Pippins community centre. We feel that this year has been purposeful, as we have continued to take seriously our role of being a faithful, kind and welcoming presence in all that we do.
