management of such a Centre for activities
promoted by the Charity in furtherance of the

Covid-19, the Community Centre closed on
16thMarch for the remainder of 2020.
Therefore there were only 6 private hires of
the Community Centre during January and
February, and likewise the regular weekly
classes which ranged from Dog training,
Ladies Night, Yoga and Dancercise for
adults to Mothers & Toddlers and NDance| for children, were similarly affected. Only 1 event hosted by the Trustees took place in Feburary before sadly the doors closed. range of events and activities during 2020
was more extensive than ever and included
a wider range of activity than the previous
year. This would have resulted in increased
attendances at both the regular weekly
classes and the monthly events, all of which
were historically sell-out functions, but
regrettably Covid-19 put an end to all of this
from 16thMarch.
It was very difficult during the rest of 2020 to
continue our work in line with our objectives
with use of the Centre not being possible.
Although new houses continued to be built
and so the resident base increased, there
was no possibility of re-opening and thereby
the benefits of social welfare through
recreation and leisure time occupation to the
residents were limited, even though this was
a time when it was probably needed the
