Total Income for the year was £361,425. Achlevemont agalnst objectlves During the year the charity continued to advance its charitable obj8cts by raising and distributing funds to support th8 conservation of heritsge assets, increase public 8ngagement with England's historic environment and support edu¢ational outcomes through heritage projects. Funding secured during the year enabled grants to b8 awarded in support of the Historic England Archive. National Blue Plaques. Emerging Talent Placements and edu¢atÈon activits8s at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, all of which Contribute dir8cUy to the charitys objectives of herilage ¢ons8Nation, public benefit and education. The trustees are satisfied that the charity made good progress against ts objedlves during the year. In particular. funding was se¢ur8d and distribuied to projects that in¢yeas8 access to heritage. support leaming and skills development, and help protect and promote nationalty important heritage assets. The approval of a new three-year fundraising plan has also provided a d8ar framework for supporting future charitablo d81ivery. During the year the charity generated total income of £361,425, comprising £224,251 of restricted funding and £137.174 of unrestricted funding. National Blua Plaqu8s and wellbeing initiatives. as well as th8 dav8lopment of unrestricted income. The Charity successfully secured support from a range of trusts, foundations, companies and individual dornrs. helping lo strengthen both restricied programme funding and unrestrict8d reserves. Progr8ss was also made towards broadening and diversfying income sowces Ihrough th8 development and launch of the charitys first Patrons. All fundraising activity is outsourced to the Philanthropy and Development Team within Historic England, under the terms of a Shared Services Agreernent. and th8ir costs are recharged on a full Cosl basis lo th8 charity.
