Illtcrnatiollai Iadies D&y w&5 held in March in Manchester and h05ted by Mesothelioma UL SWASAG hosted a table at tbe
event.
May 2023 ttLarked the 5th al￿1verSary of the clwity and a Ball held in the Alverton Hotel in Truro, attended by 120

Jun¢ 2023 found us (Trn the Hoe supporting FOT￿ Day aod we had many interactions with visitors to our stan

Mesotheliorna UK'S annuaI patient and carer day was held io October in Brighton and alongside all the tn￿tee8, 40 patients
and carers frorn the southwast made the trip. traveliing in a coach fi￿ded by SWASAG.
The annual Christnw Dinner was held in Carlyon Bay Golf Club in D￿ember and had the largest attendance so far with 69
patients and carers enjoying the evellL
The annual comedy night futkn with Jolllmy Cowling happens in January alld this year Iw raised £4,300 to date.
On top of these ajnuai events we continue w I￿st monthly sllp￿rt gtoup meetitigs iti ix>th Pl￿￿Outh and Tnm and we have
held 4 meetings in Torbay. The Torbay meetmg is somethmg we will colltitiue io buil¢l SWASAG have comtnitted to continue
fitnding I day per week of the Mesothelioula Clinical Nurse sp￿thI]st salary over this pcriod fi￿ded her attendance at all
internaiional confe1￿¢¢ in SiDgaporc and a150 fimded hcr expert trwDin8.
We will so forward into allother year Collu￿tting to all the anllual eycnts listed and also expalldthg the gjpport groups that are
50 valued by our cott)munity.
Finallciai Revie
The trustees are ple&sed svith the level of donations in tbe year which totsI £50,849 whi¢h are all unrestricted. Expenditure w&$
£57,949 and therefore at the end of the flnancial year there Iv&s £28,139 in the charity bank account whicb represents
uprestricted funds. During th¢ yur we donated ro Mesoth¢]i¢)ma UK (no* 3), purchas￿4 servi¢es for ber¢efi¢iaries,
promotiooai rner¢handis¢ o1¢)ng with the oorn]ai operational costs.
