1. Objoctives and Activitios
The principal obj8Ct of th8 charity is the advancement of the Christian faith in
aco)rdance wlth the Statements of Falth and Practice of the Independent Methodlst
Connexion. The charrty may also carry out other d￿ritable purFM)ses in the United
Kingdom andlor other parts of worfd.
The church is community based providing a range of spiritual and Tjocial needs for
the general public and the churth membership. The facilities a￿ used for a variety of
purposes for all ages and is available for public worship. christenings, weddings and
funerals. As a church we provide a range of social fellowship opportunities and
instwction and respond to related needs (support and pastoral) fr)r individuals and
families identified within the community. The charity may also Supp￿ other
charitable purposes in tho United Kingdom and other parts of the wortd.
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on
public benefit.
2. Achievements and Porfomianco
The Church pr8mises war8 r8vamp8d ovér the years from 2020 to 2022 following
sale of the adjacent Sunday School building. The floorirKJ was dug out and replaced
and most of the pews were sold and replaced wth comfortable thairs. giving
flexibility to reconfigure the layout for other activities. A nèw kitchen was installed
and th8 heating and sound systems were upgraded. plus an overhead Fyoiector was
installed along with the Internet and CCThI coverage.
The whole ambience of the church has improved eA)nsid8rably, allowing us to have
drinks after the church services and regular ￿ffee mmings. We have been able to
hold more activities and our congregation has grown. with new members being
attracted by fr￿ndlY atmosphere. Furthermore, members have beco￿￿ more
active and most attendees have a specffic role to play.
Our Fellowship meetings have been resurrected after Covid and wo hav8 been able
to assist other charities with an increase in annual donations.

3. Flnancial Review
The finances are in a strong posltlon following the sale of the frnr Sunday School
I￿lIding, whlch Is no longer required and had be(x)me a burden on ￿sources. The
funds from the sale were used to refurbish the Church.
4. Governance and Management
The Charity is managed in accordance wlth the eslablished Govemance document
issued by the Assttiation of Independent MettM)dist Churches.
