## Trustees Annual Report 2021/22

The West Tarring Young People’s Hub vision is to continue to develop the capabilities of young people and their families in the local area and promote their interests in a safe and creative environment.

The past 24 months have been a testing time for all, COVID19 has affected our progression to remain opening the hub for activities on a consistent basis. However we have during this time been able to secure further government funding to ensure our charity has financial sustainability.

During the financial year of 20/21 the trustees were able to prioritise the sustainability of general maintenance and covering outgoing utility bills. We also established further partnership working with local organisations including Sussex Clubs For Young People and South Coast Skate Club, creating opportunities for activities which are aligned with the charity's vision.

Our current priorities are to continue to grow interest and contacts for further volunteer opportunities in the form of trustee roles within our charity. We are always looking to engage and work with non-profit organisations with an aim to provide further opportunities that meet the Hub’s vision. In addition we are currently investing in storage solutions in order for more accessible usage for current users of the venue and other potential activities to take place. We are also purchasing a new cooker/oven for the charity which will provide yet another asset for people to use.
