## **REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES**

## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 10TH OCTOBER 2021**

## **REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES**

## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 10TH OCTOBER 2021**

## **Summary of Main Activities**

The Charity is organised into branches based on geographical areas in England which has national reach and draws membership from the branches along the protected characteristics of anyone (or combination) of gender, age, and vocation. For the year under review, the main activity of the charity was severely curtailed by CIVID-19 as this happened just as we were setting up the Charity.

## **Public benefit**

The trustees of Assemblies of Pentecostal Methodists confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at all relevant times.

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE**

Like much of society and the voluntary sector in particular, the Charity's normal ways of conducting its activities were severely curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Charity was not able to switch rapidly from in person services to virtual services utilising the digital platforms. This was against a backdrop of most of our members having a first-time experience at this and, therefore, the situation presented early challenges to adapt to.

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW**

The Charity grew out of a fellowship that had existed in the preceding years as members moved from Zimbabwe to settle in United Kingdom but could not find their preferred denomination. But, due to the pandemic challenge, no funds have been raised yet.

## **Income**

The inaugural annual income for the Charity stood at £0.00. This is reflective of the lockdown operating environment which limited activities that would have raised money.

## **Expenditure**

Total expenditure for the year was £0.00.

## **Reserves**

There are no reserves for the year under review.

## **Going concern**

We are of the opinion that the financial statements should continue to be prepared on the basis that the charity is a going concern for the next 12 months. We have taken into consideration the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the general operations of the charity.
