We continued to participate in the Lions District ROAR project (1 School took part) as well as the Schools Peace Poster competition.

We have continued with the Lions Message in a Bottle and Message in a Wallet Schemes. We have also continued with the collection of used glasses that can be sent off to Lions Headquarters in Birmingham for recycling for the 3[rd] world.

We helped out at the annual Lincolnshire Steam Rally (Car parking and Gate duty).

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

We were out with the sleigh at local supermarkets raising much needed funds. (The purchase of the Sum up machine helped in receiving donations as the general public still tend not to carry change these days).

We continue to rent out our ducks to other Charities.

We held a concert in Lincoln Cathedral raising money for a local cancer charity and the Military Wives Foundation.

An Easter Egg raffle was attempted again this year after a long break – Raising £200.

A request was received to help in the running of a Race night.

Section D Achievements and performance

As a small club we can’t get out and do much fundraising but we were Summary of the main still able to help our local communities in helping to deliver shopping & achievements of the charity Prescriptions, doing a Fish & Chip run and also transporting people to the during the year hospital via our Branch Club. We were also able to help in the delivery of meals to the elderly and vulnerable as well as helping out at the local foodbank.
