Our fundraising for the year was still being affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic with events still being cancelled (Duck race & Wrinkly Rockers) and low numbers when we held events.
We held our annual Quiz (low numbers) but a small amount made for our nominated Charity.
Once again, we were able to participate in the Lions District ROAR project (2 Schools took part) as well as the Schools Peace Poster competition.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
We have continued with the Lions Message in a Bottle and Message in a Wallet Schemes. We have also continued with the collection of used glasses that can be sent off to Chichester Lions for recycling for the 3[rd] world.
The annual Lincolnshire Steam Rally (Car parking and Gate duty) will be being going ahead later this year.
We were fortunate to again be in receipt of donations from the public (Gift aid forms were also duly signed which has allowed the club to receive gift aid) which helped boast our account.
We were able to go out with the sleigh for a couple supermarkets raising much needed funds.
