March **2012** **TAR** 3 Our fundraising for the year was affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic we unfortunately had to cancel a lot of our annual activities. (Duck Race, Quiz, Wrinkly Rockers & the Soul Night were some of the events affected and cancelled). We were able to participate in the Lions District ROAR project (1 School took part) as well as the Schools Peace Poster competition due to them being online. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** We have continued with the Lions Message in a Bottle and Message in a Wallet Schemes. We have also taken on the collection of used glasses that can be sent off to Chichester Lions for recycling for the 3[rd] world. The annual Lincolnshire Steam Rally (Car parking and Gate duty) was cancelled. The wife of our president took to making masks during the pandemic which were given out for a donation to the club. We were very fortunate in being in receipt of some large donations from the public (Gift aid forms were also duly signed which has allowed the club to receive gift aid) which we were able to use during the pandemic. We were able to lend out the sleigh for a private event (as we couldn’t use it due to the pandemic) which led to a donation to the club. ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about: - policy on grantmaking; - policy programme related investment; - contribution made by volunteers. We were also able to help in the delivery of meals to the elderly and vulnerable.
