Friends of St Andrews School - Trustees Report 2024-25

A total income of £34,331 has been reported this year (note this includes Scouts funds for the Fireworks event). Overall costs totalled 18,584 with donations to the school and the reflection garden totalling £3,958.

Contributions to the school include new rainbow benches for the playground, a staffroom microwave, year 6 leavers contributions and classroom grants to teachers.

Soft drinks, alcohol and snack stocks are currently held which should be considered an asset moving into 2025/26.

General Expenses are purchases that support us to effectively run our fundraising efforts. This year these include new card machines, repairs to the storage container, rugs for the Christmas grotto and a new wheelbarrow.

The Year End balance of £20,412 leaves the charity well placed for school investments heading into 2025/26.

Further Note:

The successful use of PTA Events allows us increasing opportunities to fundraise, however it is difficult to support accounting as the reporting mechanisms are limited and overall sales do not remove fees which are variable.
