TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT 2020
The Saving Lives Together mission statement is to provide free awareness sessions in CPR and defibrillators, to educate groups on the chain of survival, (early recognition, early CPR and early defibrillation) to help to increase the chance of survival of someone suffering an out of hospital cardiac arrest.
The object of the charity, as stated in it’s constitution is “to preserve and protect good health for the public benefit by providing free CPR training and defibrillator awareness sessions.”
We are based in Petersfield, Hampshire and have been providing awareness sessions over the last year in our local town and surrounding areas to businesses, community groups and the general public.
We have raised funds through donations from the local Waitrose store and their Green Token scheme, as well as donations from local workshops provided pre-COVID. Since March 2020, we have been unable to provide any training or do any fundraising activities
We have not used any monies in 2020 to provide any equipment to local communities, as we have been unable to be out training and putting our message across face to face since the pandemic started. Charity income up to 31/12/2020 was £738.00 and expenditure was £326.56
We continue to have some obstacles providing training and local workshops, however we have several organisations interested in this and hope to start face to face encounters within he coming months.
The annual return for the Charity Commission will be submitted by 31/10/22 as required. As our income this year is below £25,000 accounts and audit report are not required to be submitted.
