When constructed the new community facility will benefit the residents of the village and the surrounding area in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare to promote recreation and leisure time occupations. The overall objective is to improve the conditions of life for the residents.

The economic conditions continues to have a major impact on the availability of funding sources.

Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

During the year design specifications for a revised facility on the Hill field were created as well as a draft construction budget. The next stages are: - Obtain drawings and floorplans to support a revision to the planning permission; village consultation as well as detailed construction quotes; - Consult the village on the proposed way forward; and - Once the above completed approach funders.

The charity continues to support the Parochial Church Council in assessing the feasibility and funding availability for using the church as an additional community facility and therefore support its long term viability. However the construction of a new village hall and pavilion is the present priority.
