The school has continued to go from strength to strength and has again achieved very well academically in comparison with other schools in the area. We are still feeling the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, with income from the sale of goods and talks not having recovered to what they were in 2019. Fortunately, donations have been excellent, especially in the pre-Christmas season and, together with some special fundraising events, the outcome is an excess of income over expenditure of £1,614.10. As a result of the substantial legacy received in 2018, we are in a favourable position financially. The bulk of this money is kept in a separate savings account and will be called upon when deemed necessary by the trustees to supplement the ‘normal’ income of the charity.
