LEARN has continued to support Shree Gyanjyoti School, supplementing the school’s own budget with funding for scholarships, uniforms and other equipment for low caste children.   The school has continued to go from strength to strength and has again achieved very well academically in comparison with other schools in the area. 

The coronavirus pandemic continued to affect our income with the sale of goods and income from talks not yet having recovered to what they were in 2019. Fortunately, donations have been excellent, especially in the pre-Christmas season.  The net result was an excess of income over expenditure of £858.55. 

As a result of the substantial legacy received in 2018, we are in a favourable position financially.  The bulk of this money is kept in a separate savings account and will be called upon when deemed necessary by the trustees to supplement the ‘normal’ income of the charity.
