**Objects:** TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND TO FOSTER PATRIOTISM AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP, BY REMEMBERING AND COMMEMORATING THE SACRIFICE OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THE CROWN IN THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WARS AND IN OTHER CONFLICTS FROM THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET; BY IDENTIFYING AND PROVIDING A RECORD OF MEMORIALS IN THAT BOROUGH, SUPPORTING THEIR PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE AND BY CREATING AND ERECTING WAR MEMORIALS IN THE BOROUGH FOR THOSE FROM THE AREA WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN SUCH CONFLICTS

**Activities:** Commemorating the sacrifice of those who died in the service of the Crown in the First and Second World Wars and in other conflicts from the London Borough of Barnet; identifying and providing a record of memorials, supporting their preservation and maintenance. Creating and erecting war memorials in the Borough where there are none.
