To Preserve Or Assist In Preserving For The Public Benefit Railway And Tramway Heritage By Supporting And Promoting Museums And Other Bodies Providing Open Access To The Public Concerned With Rail Transport Heritage And Assisting In Restoration Projects; And Or2. To Advance Education In Railway And Tramway Heritage By Training, Instruction And Otherwise In The Skills Associated With The Sector, By Supporting Research Into The Historical, Scientific, Technical, Social And Economic Aspects Of Railways And Tramways And To Support The Dissemination Of Such Research For The Public Benefit.
