The funding for Wainha
and Busakira springs was generously
provided by Harmony Fire. The
decision was made by Harmony
Fire to provide the
funds in 2 separate instalments in 2021
and 2022. As both projects were ready to go the Charity took the decision to complete them
both
at the
same time. Funding
the 2"4 project
out of its own funds which was then
reimbursed by Harmony Fire in 2022 (FY2022/23).

Uganda ~ We protected
12springs
bringing
safe water to more than
8,500 people including
more than 1,400school pupils.
We completed
a holistic
water
project
in Busera
which
includes
a borehole,
a sanplat
project,
hand
washing
training,
school hygiene
training
and a girl's washroom
at
the
school.
This
benefitted
more
than
1,300
people
including
560 school pupils.
~ We started
work on a holistic project at Nakivumbi
which
will benefit the 997 people
in the community,
500
school
pupils and the market which gets as many as 4,000 visitors
a day on market day.
Zambia ~ We
drilled
10 boreholes
bringing
safe
water
to
8
communities
and
2 schools benefitting
a total of
10,643
people including 1,199school pupils.
~ Provided
a new
solar
pump
and
did
repairs
to
water
distribution
at a clinic serving more than 12,000people.
~ Trained
10 pump
menders
and
provided
them
with tool
kits. They were able to mend 3 broken
down boreholes
in
their training.
Kenya ~ We built
new
latrines
for both
girls and
boys at
Rakoro
Primary School which will enable many more children to be
able to attend school.
~ We started
work
on latrines
for both
boys
and
girls at
Otange School.
