**Trustees Annual Report** (to 31[st] March 2021)

- The charity’s name, address, and number are listed in the panel.

- The trustees are myself, as chair, Jenny Taylor, Michael Huttlestone, Judy Huttlestone, and Rev Phillip Coffin. New trustees are invited by the existing team, and the Trustees manage the charity directly.

- We have been hit hard by the Coronavirus, with the first lock-down arriving just before the start of this financial year. Given that all our work was face-to-face in the local community, our activities ceased almost immediately. Shielding requirements for key personnel and the end of our staff-team’s fixed-term contracts, meant that the operations of Chrysalis have had to be suspended for most of the year. We are effectively dormant at this stage.

- The cessation of our activities meant a stop to our income as well. Thanks to the Government’s furlough scheme, we were able to pay our staff to the end of their contracts, and to offer them reasonable redundancy pay from our reserves. We end the year with some £4,000 in our bank accounts.

- As for the future – we wait to see what happens next. As I write this, lock-down is beginning to ease, and we are watching and listening to the community here in Oakmere as we consider how we can best move forward from this point.
