The Gift Angel Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose only voting members are its charity trustees. The CIO is governed by its founding constitution, dated 21 April 2018. 

The CIO retains the same trustees as when it was founded. Any future trustees will be appointed by a resolution at a properly convened meeting of the trustees. 

Objects: 

**To advance such purposes as charitable according to the law of England and Wales as the trustees see fit from time to time, in particular but not limited to aiding, promoting and encouraging charitable giving and the support of charities and educating the general public in the works and activities of charitable organisations.** 

Activities for year-ending 31 March 2021: 

- Held two virtual fundraising events. 

- Raised £1,483.37 in donations. 

- Payments of £917.36 in unrestricted grants were made to The Lighthouse Project Spalding, registered charity, No. 1135706. 

The trustees have carried out their activities with due regard to, and in accordance with the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. 

Financial review: 

- The Gift Angel Trust finished the year with funds of £1,938.44 and no expected liabilities; a balance of £1,938.44 of unrestricted funds. 

- The donations are eligible for £251.50 in Gift Aid. This, along with £329.20 from previous years, has yet to be claimed. 

- The Gift Angel Trust has never borrowed and has no debts. 

- The Gift Angel Trust does not have sufficient capital nor significant outgoings to necessitate a reserves policy.
