## **Dr South’s School Charitable Trust Annual Report 2022-23** 

The name of the charity is the Dr South’s School Charitable Trust. 

The charity registration number is 1178027. 

The address of the charity is Dr South’s C Primary School, Bletchingdon Road, Islip, OX5 2TQ 

The trustees for the charity year 2022-2023 were Huw Morgan, Kathryn Campbell, Steve Hayes. 

The trustees are the headteacher, the chair of governors of the school and the rector. 

The trust was founded on 27th November 2017 in order to advance the education of pupil attending Dr South’s Church of England Primary School, in particular by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the said school and advance the education of its pupils. 

In the charity year 2022-23, the trust funded enrichment activities at Dr South’s CE Primary School, including the provision of outdoor and adventurous activities, sport coaching, art teaching and musical activities.  This is in line with the objectives of the trust. 

At the end of the charity year (31/08/2023) the trust held a balance of £105,703.32. 

This money will be spent on enrichment activities in coming years and is a prudent amount held in view of decreased school funding from government.

I certify that I have examined the accounts for the Dr South's School Charitable Trust
and confirni that the entries through the account tally with those reported to the
Trnstees and reported in the minutes of September 2023.
There were Iwo credits of£20, 000 each, totalling £40, 000.
The Trustees agreed tha( the restricted donations totalling £40, 000 should bepassed
to the school tofund outdoor activities and cookery in accordance with the terms of
the donations.
The Trustees agreed that a grant of£1 O, 000 should be made to the school tofund
enrichment activities, specifically art and musical iuition.
The Trustees askedfor confirmation of the amount remaining after the donations had
been made. The remaining balance is £105, 703. 32.
