Para 1.20 | We organized two catered events which raised £2,468 and we used this money to provide - A grant to cover fees and other expenses for schools and school students in South Sudan - A grant to support the medical needs of refugees and asylum seekers in detention in the UK We also supported an event in Trafalgar Square to support survivors of the Turkey/Syria earthquake of 2023. Many people at the event donated £15,579 for earthquake relief. Funds were disbursed at the start of the following financial year. |
