The objects of the Charity are lo recelve donatlons from individual Masons, Lodge5, Chapters and other Mascfiic
Bodies, and lo distribute such sums lo Masonlc and Non-masonic Charitles whether or not registered under Ihe
Charities Act, and to also offer help and assistance lo poor and dlstressed Fr&emasons and their familles who are
In need. The trustees meet annually lo consider the grants lo be made during the forthcom1ng year and there is
also an investment 5ub-Gommllla& that meets as and when required.
Thè Cornwall mason￿ Charitable Foundallon ICMCFI was formed in 2018 after the declslon was lakan by the
Trustees to close the Comwall Masonlc Benevolent Fund ICMBFI and the Comwall Masonlc Grand Charity
ICMGCI whosè work hèd been sup8rseded by the introduction of the Relief Chesl system ullder the auspices of
the Fre¢masons Gland Charity In London, where donatlons lo local festival fund raisingi would henceforth go dSrect
from individuals and lodges lo the Relief Chèst, and not through the local charities.
The Trustees have paily dua rogard to guidanc8 Issued by the Charity Cornmission in deciding what activities tha
Charlly should und8rtake.
Achlgvernents and pèrformanca
The charlty Mas been we51 supported by the Freemasons of Corllwall, individually and through their respective
lodges. Durin9 the year the Charity Tecgived donations of £40,84412024.' £22.3241.

Total income lor the year was £67.68312024.' £50,711}.
There are no reslri¢tlons on Ihg Ch8rity's power to invest. The investment strategy Is revlewed annually by the
trustees and takes into account the incofflp requiremenls, Ihe rlsk profile and the investment manager's view ol Ihg
market prospects In the medium term. 11 is the Charity's poli¢y lo invésl unTèStricl8d luncls in low and medium risk
inveslrnenls a balanced portfolio., to seek an annual return of between 3Yo and 4)/¢ SLtch as to m&et as far as
possible adminislralivg and supput eosls,. and lo hold cash balances sufficient to cover those costs and grants for
the following two years.

4010 annual relum in order lo meet the ehÉrity's annual running costs less the annual contribution from the Province
of Cornwsll. Based on annual ch8rit8ble exp¢ndilure ol approxlmatew £35,000 less Ihe conlribulk>n 01 £6,600
givlng a nel 8xp8ndilure of £28,400 the charity aims lo hold investtllen15 of at lea5l £710,000. In addition lo hold
sufflcienl reserves In cash at Ihe bank to meet at least two years Worth ol gross expenditure. BAsed on the annual
expenditure of 8pproxlmately £35.000 the charity airns to hold cash al th8 bank of 81 leasl £70.000.
As al the 31 December 2025 the cash at the bank was £102,496 and the value ol the investment was £858,096,
the requlrements of the res8Ne policy havo baèn met. Free reserves were E949,74612024.' £883,028).
