## - Tonbridge Athletics Club trustees Report 2024/2025 Another solid year for the Club. A recent visit from England Athletics revealed that Tonbridge Athletic Club is the largest England Athletics Club in the country. This is the down to the hard work and vision of a large team of people many whom have contributed over many years. Being prepared to Being new evolve/change systems and positively approach issues as they arise is key to the Clubs future. This year the Club is particularly aware of the need to have succession plans in place as a number of the core administration team get older together. With this in mind, the Club have been able to instigate the proposed payment system for coaches, officials and some committee members that was passed by members at the last AGM. Whilst the amounts paid are relatively small, we hope that it will encourage younger people to get involved. The uptake of these payment options equates to 56.25% of Coaches, Team managers and Committee officers eligible for payment claiming it. The majority of the management committee are still volunteers. Challenges ahead are: Introduction of the new age group categories Staying in the National Athletic league premiership Introducing more coaches and volunteers Securing sponsorship to help fund travel costs for TAC teams, to reduce or even wipe out athlete contributions.
