Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 1[st] . November at the Philip Squire Community Centre on Wednesday 1[st] .November 2023

Opening and Welcome

The Chairman welcomed everybody to the Meeting. I H. introduced Mr.Darren Evans as a new Member and he was welcomed enthusiastically

Minutes of the A.G.M. held on Wednesday 10[th] .November 2022 were read and agreed.

Matters Arising. There were none
-
Chaiman’s Report. It had been another successful year and he expressed his thanks to Members of the Committee for all their hard work, and to all Members for their active support. We had been successful in obtaining a Grant from the Welsh Facilities Programme and he thanked KF for his efforts. He expressed his sadness that Jules and Delia Windsor had resigned from the Association ,he had sent them an email thanking them for their support.

Statement of Accounts. The Treasurer reported that the Audit had been approved by Mr.G.W.Davies (Auditor) after some minor alterations. She read out his letter of approval in which he commended JF for her care of the finances of the Association. He also expressed his regret that he was resigning his post after many years and recorded his thanks and good wishes to the Association. The Meeting welcomed the successful audit .MJ and JR thanked JF for her hard work,this was unanimously supported by all Members. KR offered her help to the Treasurer as necessary this offer was welcomed. IH will write a letter of thanks to Mr.Davies.

Election Of Officers. All present incumbents agreed to stay on for another year if Members were in agreement. The offer was accepted unanimously.

Election of Auditor. In view of the resignation of the current Auditor this will need to be decided prior to the next Audit.

There being no other business the Chairman closed the Meeting.
