There is also a weekly coffee morning held in the meeting room.

The hall was in use seven days a week, with some activities between 10.00 am and 12 noon, others varying between 4.00 pm and 10.00 pm, mostly Monday to Friday. The hall is also used for hosting activities for local primary schools.

The charity also provides meals for families during school holidays, particularly those families whose children receive free school meals.

All activities stopped on the 15[th] March 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The charity has remained closed to church members and the public from lockdown, (last worship service was on 15[th] March 2020) until 31.12.20 (the charity did not reopen for public worship until 4[th] July 2021).

Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

The charity is one member of six local churches who have come together to form ‘ _Bridging the Wallasey Gap’_ in order to provide hot meals for feeding children during the school holidays as mentioned above.

When Covid 19 pandemic commenced in March 2020 Bridging the Wallasey Gap and the charity continued to support vulnerable families, nominated by the Head Teacher of the local 14 primary schools, by delivering Food Hampers to those families. Food Hampers plus Activity Packs (prepared by the church members) were delivered to each of the nominated families.

Established at the beginning of 2019, the charity is running successfully the Seacombe Hub providing ‘Free Uniforms for Primary Schools’, a programme to help re-cycle school uniforms for those in need in the local primary schools. Again, this has been limited due to Covid 19 pandemic, school closures and lockdowns prohibiting the volume of support usually provided.

The charity is still working towards the refurbishment of the main church building. The refurbishment of the church halls has provided excellent worship space, reliable heating and lighting, and the refurbishment toilets in main hall, provide baby changing facilities and disabled toilet.

## **Further financial review details (Optional information)**
