|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|There is a great deal of local support for<br>the Map of Australia Trust as many had<br>mourned the loss of this unique chalk<br>badge located on the hillside near the<br>village of Compton Chamberlayne.<br>Regular working parties are advertised to<br>provide maintenance to the Map, to ensure<br>it remains clearly visible in the landscape.<br>Remembrance services were held, both<br>Armistice Day and ANZAC Day and visitors<br>from the Australian High Commission were<br>escorted around the Map. The Map<br>continues to attract attention from local and<br>Australian service charities and the<br>charity’s Facebook page and website are<br>frequently accessed by the public.|
