## **Trustees**

## **Objects**

The purpose of the charity is to promote the art of drama for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by providing public theatre performances.

## **Structure, Governance, and Management**

The charity’s daily work is limited to research and development at this stage. The Trustees are satisfied that the charity works within the objects.

## **Financial Matters**

Barbaros Ensemble’s income for the financial period was £22,942 and its expenditure was £26,357. Income was derived from a second grant from the Irving Memorial Trust, three grants from private donors, and gift aid payments where eligible. The expenditure went towards the continued renovations of our permanent research site in France, as well as covering the necessary expenses of the artists who are working to bring the project to life. Our expenses exceeded our income in this financial year, but the progress made in the renovation of our site was substantial, and the trustees have further grants pledged for the coming financial year.
