A**<br>**report on the latter was commissioned**<br>**from Holy Well Glass and this will be**<br>**used to support fundraising over the next**<br>**year or so.**<br>**We have continued efforts to engage with**<br>**local schools and, for example, the**<br>**Primary School has used the handbells in**<br>**an after-school club. A school Carol**<br>**concert was also held in the Church.**<br>**We have also engaged with the local**<br>**community through a series of events**<br>**throughout the year: a candlelit supper, a**<br>**“Snowdrop Saturday” when visitors were**<br>**encouraged to explore the Churchyard,**<br>**concerts, afternoon teas, coffee**<br>**mornings and the Flower Festival**<br>**referred to above.**<br>**We have kept the information leaflets**<br>**provided free in the Church updated and**<br>**have been pleased to note their**<br>**continuing popularity with visitors.**<br>**visitors.**<br>**Following encouragement from the**<br>**diocese the overall restoration was**<br>**entered for an award scheme and we**<br>**were pleased to receive a “Highly**<br>**Commended” certificate which is now on**<br>**display in the Church.**|
