rii WOLVERTON EVANGELICAL CHURCH Annual Report 2024 We have continued to hold weekly meetings for Christian worship. and teaching the Bible to adults and children. Our meetings for Christian worshipi and teaching the Bible to adults and children are: Sunday Morning Worship Sunday School- for children up to 11 years old. Sunday Evening worship Catechism class- bite-5ize theology Bible lunch- reading the bible & sharing lunch Ladies meeting-bible study and prayer for ladies Ibi-weeklyl Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study Explorers- club for younger children on Friday evenings Reading 8roup- reading together and discussing a Christian book Holiday Bible Club- annual activity & teaching session for younger children run over 3 days, followed by with a family fun evening. The general public are welcome to attend all these meetings. The church has taken steps to invite and encourage the local community to attend, and to send their children to children's activities. This has been done through leafleting, posters, adverts in the local council magazine, and on the church website. Sunday seryices & Wednesday meetings are available on-line for those unable to attend in per50n. The church currently employs one person full-time and one part-time. The church also helps to support the work of missionaries in the Philippines, France, Kenya, Nigeria and Japan. The church helps support UBM, and organisation providing activities and bible teachin8 at holiday beaches in the UK. This is done through prayer, gifts of money and supplying volunteers.
